ME900 are ready to use monolithic pressure transducers made with a 9 mm diameter ceramic cell mounted in a dedicated housing. This groundbreaking sensor uses the piezoresistive principle where the Wheatstone bridge is screen-printed directly on one side of the ceramic diaphragm via thick film technology.
Signal conditioning electronics are added to generate a 0.5 to 4.5 V ratiometric output. Pressure and temperature calibration is done electronically with the onboard ASIC and can provide in bar or PSI. Electronics provide offset and span correction when the temperature changes. Aging detection is constantly performed, guaranteeing precision and long-term stability.
The ASIC stores production lot specific data for sensor traceability and allows custom calibration.
