Ceramic Differential Pressure Sensor Flush Diaphragm ME800
Properties
Pressure Medium: Air/Gas, Harsh & Liquid Environments
Sensor Type: Differential
Supply Voltage: Under 5V, 5V
Output Signal: Millivolt
Pressure Range: 3-300 psi
Kind: Ceramic

A ceramic base plate working as a flush diaphragm using the piezoresistive principle composes the Metallux differential pressure sensors. The Wheatstone bridge is screen-printed on one side of the base plate, which is then glued to a ceramic ring to allow proper diaphragm flexing. A special coating protects the bridge, which can therefore be exposed directly to the medium being measured.

Because of the excellent chemical resistance of the AI2O3 ceramic, the other side of the sensor does not need additional protection. These ceramic differential pressure sensors feature an optional screen-printed PTC to measure the fluid temperature. The measurement can also be used to compensate the temperature drift of the Wheatstone bridge to achieve very high accuracy.
